General Information About FSI

OUR HISTORY:

• 1985: A group of Laguna Beach residents started the “Care Program” at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Laguna Beach, which provided temporary shelter and meals for the homeless.
  
  
• 1988: That program led to the opening of the Friendship Shelter facility for 29 residents.
  
  
• 1995: Recognizing the need for transitional housing, we opened Henderson House in San Clemente.
