Please note we are no longer taking RSVPs online. If you have any questions, please call us at (949) 549-1875.
You're invited to a unique virtual chocolate tasting experience to benefit Friendship Shelter! Join us to learn about the subtle flavors of the cacao bean in a tasting party led by expert chocolate makers of Dandelion Chocolate in San Francisco.
Friday, March 19 at 5:00 PM
Private Zoom link will be sent in advance of the event.
Dandelion Chocolate’s knowledgeable instructors will lead our group through a 30-minute chocolate tasting complete with information about where cocoa comes from and how nuanced flavors in single-origin chocolate are created. They’ll share tasting best practices and discuss what types of flavors they often find in finished chocolate, providing ample opportunity for you to practice your tasting skills and ask questions.
Each tasting kit comes with three 70% single-origin dark chocolate bars, shipped to each guest to be used during the tasting session.
Learn about chocolate, have delicious fun, and support Friendship Shelter's work ending homelessness in south Orange County, one person at a time.
Generously hosted by Barbara, Ken, and Anna McMurray.
LEARN MORE ABOUT DANDELION CHOCOLATE
Dandelion Chocolate is a bean-to-bar chocolate maker in San Francisco's Mission District. For over 10 years, Dandelion has been turning cocoa beans and organic sugar into single-origin dark chocolate. Their experts travel and build lasting relationships with cocoa farmers and producers, then craft small batches of chocolate back home in their San Francisco factory. With a minimal approach, Dandelion aims to highlight different cocoa beans' distinctive flavor notes—from classic fudge to tangy fruit.
