Housing Manager

Reports To: Permanent Supportive Housing Program Manager

 

General Responsibility: The Housing Manager is responsible for managing the Housing department of a Permanent Supportive Housing program for 100+ formerly homeless adults in South Orange County at both dedicated-site and scattered-site units. The Housing Manager maintains a team of Property Coordinators and is responsible for the implementation of all activities of the Housing department, including sourcing units, maintaining landlord relationships, providing property management services, and ensuring that all activities align with Housing First and Harm Reduction practices.

General Responsibility: The primary function of the Human Resources Representative is to promote a positive workplace culture and mitigate employment-related risks while providing general and administrative support to all functions of Friendship Shelter’s Human Resources department. This individual is expected to provide human resources representation and administrative support utilizing previous experience, strong problem-solving ability, superior communication skills and balanced judgment.
