ABOUT
PSH

Services We Provide

The primary service provided is the apartments themselves, scattered throughout south Orange County. Services are based on each client's individual need and includes independent living skills, coaching, connections and transportation to local resources for food, employment and benefit income, medical and mental health care, recovery support, and community-building activities and events.

Finding Apartments

Our Housing Locators have relationships with property owners  and have successfully placed clients in a wide range of housing opportunities. Many of the project’s scattered-site units' leases have been renewed year-over-year with the same landlord -- a testament to our success in maintaining positive relationships between all parties.

The Nuts & Bolts

Clients pay 30% of their income in rent and sign a lease similar to a market-rate apartment. Staff members provide day-to-day support. Housing stabilization coordinators assess client needs and help develop a plan. Our benefits specialists assist clients in securing and maintaining income benefits, food stamps, and medical benefits. Clients who are able to work have access to coaching to find and keep employment.
